When you have chosen the used car of your choice, arriving at a buying decision requires taking care of the smallest of things. If you have a good knowledge of the technical aspects of a car, you can get the vehicle inspected yourself or take the help of a trusted mechanic.

Although things may seem normal from the outside, the mechanic will be able to give you accurate information about the engine and other parts of the car.

Full-Service History

Some car owners carefully keep servicing schedules, and records. They also have the receipts and the dates noted. On the other hand, some owners don’t put too much thought into record keeping. They just keep a note in their mind of the visits made by them to the service center.

Check Registration Certificate

Before buying a used car, check the registration certificate of that vehicle.  Get details like owner name and car details along with engine number, chassis number, etc.

Pay attention to an insurance policy

When buying a used car, the old car insurance needs to be transferred to the name of the new owner. If the seller does not actively do so, it is the buyer’s responsibility to transfer it.

Must take a long test drive

While buying a used car, an individual must take a long test drive. Take a test drive of at least 30 km. If you want to know the performance and exact condition of the vehicle, you must take a test drive.
